Obituary of Ann Theresa Ives

Ann Theresa Ives, 89, of Freehold Township passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 at CareOne at Wall with her devoted son, Christopher by her side. She was born and raised in Park Slope, Brooklyn and had lived in East Brunswick and East Windsor before settling here 12 years ago. Always eager to serve her community, Ann was a member of the Red Hat Society and The Women’s Club of East Brunswick. Ann enjoyed keeping busy and was quite the social butterfly, friends were something she did not lack. During her down time, she enjoyed writing letters and gardening. Ann was extremely proud of her Irish heritage. She was a kindhearted soul whose greatest pleasure was her family.

Ann was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Ives in 1994. She is survived by her two sons, Christopher Ives and his wife, Joann of Freehold Township, and Charles Ives and his wife, Clara of California; four grandchildren, Christopher and his wife, Nicole, Karlie, Marianna and Andrea; and two great grandchildren, Sienna and Arianna.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:30 AM Funeral Mass on Friday, March 4, 2022 at the  Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Roadd, Freehold Township. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park & Mausoleum, 840 Cranbury South River Road, Jamesburg, NJ 08831 .
