Obituary of Madeline Rose Cirasa

Madeline Rose Cirasa, 92, of Millstone Township passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at home surrounded by family. She was born in Walpole, Massachusetts and had lived in Elizabeth, New Jersey where she raised her family. Madeline then moved to Rahway before residing in Millstone Township in 2001. She worked in customer service for Elizabeth Town Water Company for many years. Madeline enjoyed spending time outdoors, was part of the Rosary Club, and loved to quilt and knit. Her faith was very important to her. She was kind in nature, which led to her need to help others. Above all, Madeline was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and sister who will be missed by all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Raymond Salvatore Cirasa; son, Salvatore Cirasa; grandson, Nicholas Cirasa; and parents, Francisco and Palmira Moreira. Madeline is survived by her children, Raymond Cirasa and his wife, Denise of Mountainside, Frances B. Cirasa of Freehold, Joseph Cirasa and his wife, Nancy of Cedar Grove, and Elizabeth Wlazlowski and her husband, Leo of Millstone; grandchildren, Raymond Cirasa, Jr., Caren Cirasa, Michelle Cirasa, Chelsea Cirasa, Jessica King, Richard Dietz, Lenny Hart, Jennifer Cirasa, Brittany Cirasa, Angelina Cirasa, Michael Cirasa, Joseph Cirasa, Daniel Cirasa, Thomas Wlazlowski, and Joseph Wlazlowski; and siblings, Eddie Moreira and Lucy Andrade.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:30 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at St. Josephs Church, 91 Stillhouse Road, Millstone. Inurnment will be held at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery at a later date to be determined.
