Obituary of Victoria Akua Nkulenu
Victoria Akua Nkulenu, 81, of Howell passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was born and raised in Ghana and had moved to the United States in 1995 to help raise her grandchildren. Victoria was an educator and believed that knowledge is power. The matriarch of her family, she was known as the problem solver, best advice giver and was always encouraging others to do their best in life. During her downtime, she enjoyed reading a good book and spending time with her loving family.
Victoria was predeceased by her husband, George Hodasi; siblings, Letitia Nkulenu Elebute, Lawrence Kwasi Nkulenu and Beatrice Nkulenu Afful. She is survived by her two children, Dr. Eric Yao Hodasi of Linden and Laura Afua Hodasi-Adjangba, Esq. and her husband, Sam Ayi Adjangba of Howell; four grandchildren, Margaret Nah Ameley Adjangba, Ian Kofi Ayité Adjangba, Sean Kodzo Hodasi and Ethan Selassie Hodasi; and sister, Agnes Nkulenu Adansi.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM Funeral Service on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Marlboro Memorial Cemetery and Mausoleum, 361 Hwy 79, Morganville, NJ 07751.
