Obituary of Galina Katenina

Galina Katenina, 85, of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 24, 2022.  Galina was born, raised, and lived in Leningrad now St. Petersburg, Russia.  Along with her husband, Dimitri, she came to the United States in 2011.  Galina was an architect.  She was a parishioner of Holy Assumption Russian Orthodox Church, Trenton.  Most of all, she was a devoted wife, loving mother, and adoring grandmother.

Galina was predeceased by her husband and a brother.  She is survived by her daughter, Tatiana Iakimenko and her husband, Sergei of Blue Bell, PA and two grandchildren, Ivan Iakimenko of Boston, MA and Alexandra Iakimenko of Blue Bell, PA.

Funeral Liturgy will be held at Holy Assumption Russian Orthodox Church, 106 Jackson Street, Trenton, NJ on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 10:00 AM.  Interment will follow in St. Vladimir R.O.
