Obituary of Darian Leigh Tveici

Darian Leigh Tveici, 25, of Brick passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, March 26, 2022.  She was born in Rahway and was a lifelong resident of Howell. Darian graduated from Howell High School and continued her education at Brookdale Community College where she earned her Associate’s degree in graphic design. 

Darian’s true passion was serving people and making people happy. She worked at many food establishments and her last job was at The Wave Resort in Long Branch, where she was planning on eventually becoming an event planner.  Darian had an abundance of energy and couldn’t sit still.  Those who knew her enjoyed her amusing sense of humor.  She loved to travel, especially to her happy place, the Florida Keys.  More than anything, she treasured family. 

She was predeceased by her grandparents Pricilla and Vincent Puccio, Livia and Dragoloub Tveici, her Great Grandmother Helen Dugan and her uncle, Robert Puccio.  Darian is survived by her fiancé, Michael Barilla of Brick; parents, Dan and Catherine Tveici of Howell; uncle, Vincent Puccio of Howell; aunt, Deianca Tveici of Romania; future in-laws, Diane and Bill Newman of Key Largo, FL; Great aunt and uncle, Carol and John Wheat of Green Brook; many cousins, and her beloved pets, Rocky, Charlie, Fabio, Akira, Chub, Critter, Chibi and Mow Mow.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 520), Freehold Township on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:30 AM Funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at St. William the Abbot Catholic Church, 2740 Lakewood Allenwood Road, Howell.  Interment will be private.  For those who desire, memorial contributions in Darian’s name may be made to www.wigsandwishes.org, 304 Hurffville Crosskeys Road, Sewell, NJ  08080.  For information, directions, or to leave condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
