Obituary of Lisa P. Giambalvo

Lisa P. Giambalvo, 68, of Howell, NJ passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Jersey Shore University Medical. She was born in Manhattan raised in the Bronx and moved to Howell in 1981. Lisa was a fighter and fought a courageous battle with breast cancer for the past 22 years. She had a big heart and was a bus aide for special needs children for over 20 years. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she always took pride in making sure her family had the best gifts and the best memories. Lisa adored her grandchildren, and they gave her the will to live, she loved nothing more than spoiling them. She always made sacrifices for her family, as they were the most important to her. Lisa will be missed by all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her parents, Edythe and Victor Gelman, Her adoring husband, Richard Giambalvo. She is survived by her two children, Beth Krentzman and her husband, Adam of Brick and Richie Giambalvo and his wife, Christie of Old Bridge; Three Grandchildren, Ryder, Carter, and Charli; Sister, Cheryl Gelman of Howell.

A gathering of friends will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, from 5:00-6:30 PM with her funeral service to follow.
