Obituary of Ann Bosko
Ann Bosko, 100, of Farmingdale passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Preferred Care in Wall. She was born in Newark. Ann was raised and had lived in Englishtown before settling in Farmingdale in 1949. She was a parishioner at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Farmingdale, a member of Civil Air Patrol, and a volunteer at the Howell Senior Center. Ann had traveled extensively throughout the United States and loved to play bingo and take trips to Atlantic City. She was an RN and had worked at Fitkin Hospital, Neptune, Dr. Weiss’s dentist office in Freehold, Ocean Grove Nursing Home and at Geraldine L. Thompson Nursing Home until retiring in 1986.
She was predeceased by her husband, George Bosko; daughter, Barbara Bennett; great granddaughter, Jenna Elizabeth Fary; brothers, Mike, Steve, Joseph and John Drivick; and two sisters, Jean Pokus and Mae Ross. Ann is survived by two children, John Bosko and his wife, Meg of Freehold, and Georgiann Bosko of New Bern, NC; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter; two nieces and a nephew.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 10:00 AM with her memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow to Holy Trinity Cemetery, Rhode Hill Road, Monroe Township, NJ 08831.
