Obituary of Donna Gale Burns

Donna Gale Burns, 75, of Old Bridge passed away peacefully on Friday, April 7, 2022. Donna was born, raised, and had lived in Bayonne. She moved to Old Bridge over fifty years ago. Donna retired as a secretary in the guidance department at Old Bridge Township High School after thirty-seven and a half years of dedicated service. She had a passion for shopping which led her far and wide to seek out that special find at that special store. Donna relished in her time relaxing at the salon getting a Mani-Pedi. Yet most of all, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Kelly Gale Calone and her husband, Jeff of Freehold Township and George Burns and his wife, Eleanor of Big Sandy, TN; two grandchildren, George Burns III and his wife, Erika of Big Sandy, TN and Ellen Collins and her husband, Logan of Big Sandy, TN; and two great-grandchildren, George Burns IV and Oliver Burns.

All arrangements were private under the direction of Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, NJ 07728. Interment was held in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden.
