Obituary of Hannah Louise Dixon

Hannah Dixon Lytch, 77, of Jackson who loved to be called Mommy by her kids, departed her loving family on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.  She was born and raised in Jersey City and moved to East Orange before settling in Jackson in 1996.  Hannah was a go-getter who wanted more for her family than she had and she worked tirelessly at Ball-Foster Glass in Carteret, and then as an LPN at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township.  She could best described as giving, nurturing, protective, spiritual, and loyal, all attributes that helped to shape her success.  Above all, she believed in God.

She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Nora Dixon; sister, Eleanor Mayrant; and brother, Edward Dixon, Jr.  She was also predeceased by her loving and devoted husband of forty seven years, William C. “Willie” Lytch, whom she married on November 25, 1967, and in that blessed union brought forth six children, Doreen Guzman and her husband, Richard, Tammie Quetant and her husband, Rene, Peshina Velez and her husband, Christian, Kendra Fields and her husband, John, Narrell Lytch and his wife, Courteney, and Marquise Dixon and his girlfriend, Kellie Kolis; twenty grandchildren, Yarciya Eddington, Lanora Eddington, Dante Fields, Isaiah Quetant, Jason Dixon, Jarron Dixon, Jaylin Dixon, Najeem Lytch, Nia Lytch, Cayla Lytch, Joshua Fields, Monae Velez, Adam Velez, Noah Lytch, Jaime Guzman, Richard Guzman, Jr., Christopher Guzman, Natasha Grant, Zion Smith, and Madison Smith; four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by her brother, Frederick Russell.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM with her funeral service to follow at 10:00 AM.  Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ 07652.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Hannah may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2310 Route 34, Suite 1D, Manasquan, NJ  08736.  For information, directions, or to leave condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
