Obituary of Frances D'Ambrosia

Frances D’Ambrosia, 76, of Monroe passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022.  Frances was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised her family in the New Springville section of Staten Island before settling here in 2010.  She worked as a business analyst for Dun and Bradstreet in New York for seventeen years prior to her retirement.   Frances, a devout Catholic, was a parishioner at the Nativity of Our Lord Church in Monroe.  Frances loved spending time in the company of family and friends.  Her greatest joys were her daughters, son-in-laws and grandchildren.   She was selfless raising her daughters, showed strength and courage until the very end, exemplified true and unconditional love to her husband and showed her daughters what it meant to pass with the utmost grace.

Frances was predeceased by her parents, Vito and Teresa Chironna, and her beloved husband, Michael.    She is survived by two daughters, Christine Heenan and her husband, Hilary, of Glen Rock and Lisa Glusko and her husband, John Jr. of Freehold Township; five grandchildren, Ashley, Brendan, John III, Alison, and Matthew; a sister, Mary Gianciatta and her husband, Louis, of Jackson; and a sister-in-law, Josephine Chironna of Brooklyn, NY.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 11:00 AM for the procession to her 12:00 Noon Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1 Phalanx Road, Colts Neck.  Entombment will follow at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery & Mausoleum, Marlboro.
