Obituary of Paul S. Brinkman
Paul S. Brinkman, 66, of Jackson passed away on Saturday afternoon, April 30, 2022. Paul was born in Baltimore, MD and was raised in Huntington, Long Island and St. Charles, IL. He lived in Lincroft, Freehold and Ocean Township before settling in Jackson to raise his family. Paul was semi-retired, but returned to Delicious Orchards in 2020 to help out at the packing house. His greatest joys in life included riding his Harley Davidson, keeping his lawn in pristine condition, vigorously scratching lottery tickets every morning and cracking jokes for laughs. Paul’s sense of adventure and desire for the open road led him on many cross-country trips on his motorcycle including taking the long ride out to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota many times. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Laurie Brinkman; three adoring daughters, Nicole Brinkman of Brick, Brittany Brinkman of Brick and Rachel Brinkman of Jackson; the apples of his eye, his grandsons, Trevor and Matty; brothers, Peter Brinkman and his wife, Regina of East Brunswick and Philip Brinkman of Howell; a sister, Bonnie Culler and her husband, Scott of AZ; and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and countless wonderful and dear friends.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM with his memorial service to follow at 6:00 PM.
