Obituary of Myung Kim

Myung Sook Kim, 75, of Freehold Township passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Chelsea Senior Living in Marlboro.  Myung was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea.  She came to the United States with her family in 1981 settling in Cherry Hill and had lived in Berlin before settling in Freehold Township in 2017.  Myung was always active.  She had a passion for watching her son play baseball, the game of golf, and enjoyed watching golf and tennis matches. Yet most of all, she was a devoted wife, loving mother and adoring grandmother.

Myung is survived by her husband of 52 years, Choong Kim; two sons, Eric Kim and his wife, Khanh Phan of Bridgewater and David Kim and his wife, Lisa Lau-Kim of Freehold Township; three grandchildren, Carter, Aiden, and Madelyn; three sisters; a brother; and many nieces and nephews.
