Obituary of Richard DeRosa

Richard DeRosa, 56, of Howell Township passed away at The Jewish Home, Freehold Township. He was born in New York City, raised in Brooklyn, and had lived in Staten Island before moving to New Jersey. Richard was a logistics director for Mcallister Enterprises. He adored his children and was always there to support them. Richard was into his physical fitness and took great pleasure in kick boxing. He was meticulous and paid attention to every detail.  Richard was an avid sports fan and enjoyed cheering on the Yankees and the Miami Dolphins. A lover of the beach, his garden, good Italian food and a nice glass of Grand Marnier.

Richard was predeceased by his parents, Rudy and Vita. He is survived by his adoring family Dominick DeRosa, Danielle DeRosa, Debra DeRosa, Teresa Doyle, Mary and her husband, John Nortesano,Gerard DeRosa, Johnny Nortesano, Jerry Nortesano and Mary Grace Scotto.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, May 13,2022 from 6:00-10:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 11:30 AM funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 16 Mc Lean Street, Freehold, NJ 07728.
