Obituary of Theodora J. Santiago
Theodora J. “Teddy” Santiago, 78, of Howell passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at home. She was born in Long Branch, raised in Matawan, and settled to Howell in 1964. Teddy was an avid fan of music and playing the piano. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, making jewelry, and was a true animal lover. Teddy was known for her selfless acts of kindness, always being willing to help others, and her love for giving gifts, big or small. As a child, she could often be found at the beach and playing in the water. A very thoughtful and sentimental woman, Teddy kept all the cards that she received from her family and friends. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister who was passionate about spending quality time with her family.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Manuel Santiago; children, Robert and his wife, Lori, Amy and her husband, Tony, Tracy and her fiancé, John Early, and Jeffery and his wife, Beth; grandchildren, Krista, Kaitlan and Anthony Tallo, Christopher and Amanda Rose, Amanda, Joshua, Ian, Luke, Sophia, and Ashley and Matt Curtis; great grandchildren, Anabella, Carlo, Delaney, Colette, Lillyana, and Remy; sisters, Barbara and Ron Toth, Suzie and Roger Strickland, and Wendy and Ken Sopher; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 3:00 to 6:30 PM with her funeral service to begin at 6:30.
