Obituary of John-Anthony Fenimore

 

John-Anthony Fenimore, II, 49, of Freehold passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township.  He was born and raised in Staten Island and settled in Howell.  A graduate of St. Peter’s Boys’ High School, John continued his education at Mount Saint Mary College where he played soccer and earned his Associate degree.  Most recently, he worked for Verizon as a technician.John was an avid sports fan who rooted for the Yankees and the Jets. John was kind-hearted, helpful in his community and very involved in his kids’ activities.  

John is survived by his children, John-Anthony, III Fenimore, Christopher Fenimore, and Samantha Fenimore; their mother, Toni Fenimore; his mother, Kathleen Fenimore; his father, John Fenimore and his wife, Marian; sisters, Alycia Battaglia and her husband, Joseph, Tara Barry and her husband, James, and Megan Caravello and her husband, Vincent; brother, Michael Fenimore; nieces and nephews, Brittney Zerilli and her husband, Mike, Joseph Battaglia, Alexa Battaglia, Ava Barry, Natalie Barry, James Barry, Carmine Caravello, and Oliva Caravello; great nephew, Carmine Joseph Battaglia; and many loving cousins, friends, aunts, uncles, and family members. 

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 12:00 to 3:30 PM with his funeral service to follow.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the New Jersey Sharing Network, 691 Central Avenue, New Providence, NJ 07974 would be appreciated.
