Obituary of Lillian Kay Howarth
Lillian Kay Howarth, 84, a lifelong resident of Manalapan passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Cranbury Center, Monroe. She worked as a bus driver for the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District for over 36 years safely transporting children to and from school in. 2003 Lillian was a member of the Freehold Township Independent Fire Company #1 Ladies Auxiliary. She loved to do word search puzzles and watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and the Buzz Channel. Lillian was also a skilled vegetable and flower gardener and enjoyed watching eagles and hummingbirds.
She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Isabelle Hendrickson; brother, Charles E. Hendrickson; and three sisters, Mary Ellen Eldridge, Doris Dean Paasch; and Caroline Adeline Hendrickson; She is survived by four children, twins Linda Gaub of West Palm Beach, FL and Wayne Howarth and his wife, Clare of Freehold; Roxanne Howarth and her wife, Andrea Arimura of West Jordan, UT; and Terri Holland of Roosevelt; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Suvina Dale Parken of Manalapan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon with her funeral service to follow at Noon. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleum, 169 West Main Street, Freehold Township.
