Obituary of Alfred F. Peruzzi

Alfred F. Peruzzi, 81, of Howell Township passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.  Al was born in Manhattan, raised in West New York and had lived in the Stuyvesant Town section of New York City before moving to Howell in 1967.  He was the owner of Consumer Response & P.W. Research, NYC and Secaucus for thirty years until his retirement.  Al was devout parishioner of the Church of St. Veronica, Howell as well as a member of the Retired Active Men group or RAM for short. He excelled in the kitchen and had a thrill for travel.  Along with his wife, they have traveled through Europe, China, and Mexico.  Yet with his family, they explored the eastern seaboard, from Canada to Florida, by motorhome.  But nothing compared to his passion for fishing, from party boats, to streams or ponds.  If Al could, he would fish a puddle. 

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Maureene; four children, Christopher Peruzzi and his wife, Sharon O’Brien of Freehold; Alicia Peruzzi of Howell, Michele Lynch of Manasquan, and Laura Lucarelle and her husband, Christopher of Wilbraham, Massachusetts; nine grandchildren, Brittany, James, Sara, Olivia, Michaela, Ryan, Jack, Anna, and Owen.

A visitation will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM.  Relatives and friend are invited to gather at 9:00 AM on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the funeral home for the procession to his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell, 07731.  Entombment will follow in St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleums, Lakewood.  For those who desire, memorial contributions may be mailed to the church or Here.  For information, directions, or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com.
