Obituary of Marjorie K. Wong

Marjorie K. Wong, 84, of Manchester, NJ. passed peacefully in her sleep and entered fully into the presence of the Lord on Saturday, May 28, 2022. She was born in The Bronx, December 25, 1937 and lived in various parts of New York and New Jersey before retiring to Renaissance at Manchester, NJ where she lived a full and active life. She enjoyed singing in her church choir and Renaissance choral group as well as the occasional karaoke! She also loved dancing and performing in musical theater productions. Marjorie was very talented and created beautiful works of art in acrylics and pastels. She also loved to crochet and knit. Marjorie was a fantastic cook! Her greatest joy was bringing food to others or gifting friends and family with her paintings or scarves she made. 

Marjorie was greeted in heaven by her beloved husband, Joe Wong. She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Kwong. She is survived by her children, Staci (Wong) Pearson and husband, Steve of Summit, NJ, Melissa (Wong) Evanego of Freehold Twp, NJ and Jason Wong and his wife, Billie of Bayville NJ. Marjorie leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Jacob, Sammi, Benji and Sydney Pearson, and Jared and Rachael Evanego. She is also survived by her brothers, George Kwong and his wife, Irene of New Hyde Park, NY and Walter Kwong of Ridge, NY.

Visiting hours will be from 10am-11am with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at the Presbyterian Church of Lakehurst, 101 Orchard Street, Lakehurst NJ 08733 at 11am on Friday, June 17, 2022.
