Obituary of Deborah J. Naugle

Deborah Joan Naugle, 62, of Morganville, passed away peacefully after a heroic 8 year battle with cancer.  She was born and raised in Old Bridge, NJ.  Deborah worked more than 30 years for Verizon as a training liaison and union representative.  She met her childhood sweetheart and the love of her life Jim, right down the street and they were happily married for over 42 years.  They settled and made their home in Morganville, NJ.

Debbie was always the life of the party. She never skipped an invitation to a birthday, holiday, engagement, baby shower, anniversary or wedding. She made sure everyone knew how import they were to her. If you needed help, she was the first one by your side. Debbie also enjoyed traveling, going to antique care shows with her husband, hitting the casino, and boats . Debbie was patriotic and known for her huge over the top Labor Day Parties.  She was often seen in red white and blue or her favorite color, Leopard Print. Debbie absolutely loved spending time with her friends and family, spoiling her nieces and nephews, and easily won the title of “Favorite Aunt!”

She was predeceased by her parents, Charles Sr. and Laverne Dutton; brothers, Eugene Dutton, David Dutton, and Charlie Dutton, Jr.. Also gone too soon was her nephew, David Dutton Jr.; and her great niece, Cecilia Brizuela.

Surviving her are her sisters, Charlene and her husband, Billy Wood of Pittsboro, IN, and Pam and Steve Nash of Flemington NJ; her sisters-in-law, Pauline Dutton and Joanne Anderson and her husband Eric of Old Bridge NJ; and all her many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.   She will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM.
