Obituary of Dolores Volino

Dolores Volino, 86, of Freehold passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was born and raised in the Borough Park section of Brooklyn and had lived in Staten Island before moving here in 1999. She worked as an executive secretary at AIG for Maurice Greenberg, a job she took great pride in. Dolores retired and moved to Surrey Downs.  She enjoyed crafting and decorating for neighborhood parties and playing mahjong with her friends. In her spare time, she loved doing puzzles, baking, and cooking, but her favorite hobby was knitting and crocheting for her future great grandchildren. Dolores always made people feel welcomed and was extremely generous.

She was predeceased by her grandson, Brandon Volino in 2018. She is survived by her three children, Michael Galardi and his wife, Janet of Staten Island, Lori Bizzarro and her husband, Michael of Freehold and Peter Volino and his wife, Judith of Marlboro; four grandsons, Michael Galardi, Robert Galardi and his fiancée, Samatha Croce, Maximilian Volino and Christopher Bizzarro; and her significant other of 40 years, Manny Sulema.
