Obituary of Carmen Seath

Carmen Seath, 84, of Howell Township passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. Carmen was born and raised in Seville, Spain.  She came to the United States in the 1960’s settling in Brooklyn.  Carmen lived in Whiting and Freehold before moving to Howell Township in 2016. While Carmen enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and knitting, her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren and her 4 great grandchildren. Her family was everything to her. She was an amazing Mom and Meemo and a wonderful devoted friend.                                           

She was predeceased by her husband, Dennis; two sisters; and two brothers.  Carmen is survived by her children, Virginia “Ginny” Vitale and her husband, Thomas, of Wilkesboro, NC, Linda Bullen and her husband, Ben of Groveland, FL, Susan Curte and her husband, Louis of Brooklyn, and Carmen Seath-Cortes and her husband, Mike of Howell; six grandchildren, Alexandra Brockner and her husband, Seth, Spencer Bullen, Dillan Bullen, Dinamarie Ball, Danielle Curte, and Michael Cortes, Jr.; four great-grandchildren, Gabriella Brockner, Christian Ball, Rhiannon Brockner, and Makayla Brockner; two sisters, Loli and Mari both of Spain; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 for the procession to her 9:30 AM Funeral Mass at the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell Township.  Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Arneytown.  For those that cannot attend in person, the family invites you to participate via Webcast, HERE.
