Obituary of Connie D'Auria
Connie D’Auria, 78, of Jackson passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born and raised in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn and had lived in Long Island for 50 years before moving to Jackson in 2020. Connie was a manager at Verizon and had dedicated 30 years to the company. She was a proud member of the Red Hat Society and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and was also a devoted parishioner of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Long Island. Connie enjoyed bowling, puzzles, and cards. She took great pleasure in crocheting and took pride in making baptismal blankets for the children at her church. Connie was a wonderful cook and loved entertaining others. Along with her husband, she would spend her winters in Naples, FL. Connie’s home will always be in Long Island, a place she truly felt at peace. She forever cherished the memories she made with her family and friends.
Connie is survived by her husband, Anthony D’Auria of Jackson; son, Anthony D’Auria, Jr. of Long Island; and her twin sister, Carole Palmisano and her husband, Anthony of Piscataway.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM Funeral Mass on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at St. Gabriel’s Historical Church, 549 County Road 520, Marlboro.
