Obituary of James H. Brand
James Henry Brand, 74, of Toms River passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center, New Brunswick. He was born in Neptune and had lived in Freehold and Maryland before settling in Toms River. James was a Vietnam War Veteran, Paratrooper, and a Purple Heart Recipient. He never forgot the POA/MIA, often thought of them on Memorial Day and would frequent their memorial sites. James was a member of the Freehold VFW. He was a good soul who always put others first.
James is survived by his daughter, Alicia Botticelli and her husband, Joseph of Aberdeen; three grandsons, William, Christopher, and Joseph; partner, Michele Moore of Toms River; brother, Walter Brand and his wife, Mary of Farmingdale; and sister, Patricia Tarpy of Florida.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 12:30 PM interment on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown.
