Obituary of Bertha Rose Miller
Bertha Rose Miller, 87, a lifelong Howell resident, passed away Tuesday, August 9th, at home, surrounded by the loving family that cared for her. A graduate of Freehold High School, Bertha was a gifted seamstress who also worked helping her parents manage and run their family’s bungalow colony. Bertha was a fiercely independent woman who never met a project she couldn’t take on by herself. She loved cooking her specialty dishes, tending to her roses and spending time with her family. She loved her pets and was very well known in the animal rescue community.
She is predeceased by her beloved brother, Edwin Miller, Jr. and her parents, Edwin and Suzette Miller. Bertha is survived by her devoted son, Don Vona; a daughter, Suzette LoGuidice; and granddaughters, Karra and Danielle Vona.
Her memory will continue to be a blessing to all that knew her.
