Obituary of Pasquale Morello

Pasquale Morello, 76, of Farmingdale passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He was born in Amato, Italy and came to the United States at the age of 14. Pasquale was the owner of Pasquale Morello & Sons Mason Contractor in Farmingdale for over 30 years. He took great pride in his work and was the developer of Morello Court in Farmingdale, a place he and his family called home. Pasquale was proud of his Italian heritage and traditions. He enjoyed Italian food and the Italian channel. He would take great solace in the beautiful views at his cabin in the Adirondack Mountains. At the family’s request, every time you watch The Price is Right, please think of Pasquale.

He was predeceased by his parents, Francesco and Francescina Morello; and his sister-in-law, Marie Morello. Pasquale is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Rita Morello of Farmingdale; six children, Rose Schechter and her husband, Larry of Manchester, Pasquale Morello, Jr. and his wife, Sandy of Jackson, Frank Morello and his girlfriend, Karen Vansant of Morganville, Rita Morello of Farmingdale, Tony Morello and his wife, Julie of Farmingdale, and Mary Alderman and her husband, Douglas of Farmingdale; six grandchildren, Leighann and her husband, Anthony, Robert and his wife, Leslie, Alyssa, Anthony, Pasquale David and Rita Marie; four great grandchildren, Anthony, Layla, Everly, and Makinley; brothers, Frank Morello of Philadelphia, and Antonio Morello and his wife, Rosina of Long Branch; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.  

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 9:00-12:00 PM with his funeral service to follow.
