Obituary of James Robert Ninivaggi

James Robert Ninivaggi, 64, of Howell passed away at his home on Sunday, August 14, 2022.  He was born in Newark and lived in Cranford before settling here in 1963. James was an IT systems analyst for Hackensack Meridian Health for over 30 years. He enjoyed playing fantasy sports and was the perfect partner for Trivial Pursuit. An avid sports fan, James enjoyed nothing more than spending time cheering on the Yankees, Jets and Rangers with his family.

He was predeceased by his parents, James, and Victoria Ninivaggi; and mother in-law, Josephine Chonaiew. James is survived by his wife of 37 years, Dana Ninivaggi of Howell; son, Marc Ninivaggi and his wife, Sara of Bricktown; two granddaughters, Charlotte and Josephine; siblings, Richard Ninivaggi and his wife, Loretta of Manchester, Joan McNamara and her husband, Stephen of Manchester, Thomas Ninivaggi and his wife, Theresa of Beachwood and Steven Ninivaggi and his wife, Cynthia of Allentown; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, August 20, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM with a memorial service to follow at 2:30 PM.  Interment will be private.
