Obituary of Dorothy Kelley

Dorothy Kelley, 101, of Freehold Township passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022 at Bartley Healthcare Nursing and Rehabilitation, Jackson.  She was born in Parlin and lived in South Amboy and returned to Parlin and had remained there until settling in Freehold Township in 1984.  Dorothy worked for E.I. du Pont in Parlin as a film processor.  She was a parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine and a former parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in South Amboy.  Proud of her Irish heritage, Dorothy was known for her great sense of humor and always enjoyed a good joke.  She loved nothing more than spending time with her family.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Thomas F. Kelley in 2002; son, Thomas J. Kelley in 2011; and son-in-law, Jerry DelGuercio in 2015.  She is survived by three daughters, Karen Gomolka and her husband, Robert of Freehold Township; Kathleen DelGuercio of Union, and Nancy Greberis and her husband, Stanley of Freehold Township; daughter-in-law, Patricia Kelley of Ocean; ten grandchildren; and eight grand grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:30 AM Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township on Friday, September 2, 2022.  Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin.
