Obituary of Helen Kostbar

Helen Kostbar, 80, of Howell passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Brandywine Living at Howell.  She had lived in Englishtown and moved to Kentucky until her return to New Jersey in 2016. Helen was a bus driver for Yellow Duck and Pied Piper nursery school in Englishtown. She loved to keep a beautiful home and took great pride in decorating and gardening. Along with her husband, Helen enjoyed going to flea markets, antiquing and arts and crafts.

Helen is predeceased by her husband, Richard Kostbar in 2017. She is survived by her three children, Ric Kostbar and his wife, Charlene of Howell, Stephen Kostbar and his wife, Sharon of Arizona and Theresa Kostbar of Toms river; Three grandchildren, Michael, Bradley and Chea; One great granddaugter, Elizabeth Rose; Three brothers, August Pleger, Robert Pleger and Charles Pleger; Two sisters, Irene Cinquegrana and Theresa Plegere.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday , September 21, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM with his funeral service to follow. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightown, NJ 08562.
