Obituary of Paeony Lau Lee

Paeony Lau Lee of Morganville passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022.  She was born in China and had moved to Hong Kong before coming to the United States in 1974. Paeony was the matriarch of her family and spread her gift of knowledge on to her children. She was also a smart businesswoman who took great interest in real estate.  Paeony was known for her great sense of fashion and her desire to travel. She was always staying active and loved country music and line dancing. Paeony’s greatest hobby was being in the company of her family and friends. 

She is survived by her husband, Yuk Tong Lee of Morganville; three children, Christopher Lee and his wife, Vanessa of Florida, Cindy Lee of Morganville, and Frederick Lee of Morganville; and one granddaughter, Olivia Lee. 

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM.  Interment will be private. For information, directions or to leave condolence messages, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
