Obituary of Patricia Ann Viant

Patricia Ann Viant, 91, of Howell passed away peacefully at home with her daughter by her side on Tuesday, October 18, 2022.  Patricia was born and raised in Newark and was a graduate of Our Lady of the Valley High School in Orange.  She lived in Newark before moving to Maplewood, NJ and then to Radford, VA.  Patricia returned to New Jersey settling in Howell Township in 1994.  She had worked as a medical assistant in Doctor’s offices in Union and East Orange.  Patricia loved to shop and going out to dinner but being a wife, mother and “Nana” was her greatest accomplishment in life.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband, William S. Viant; a son, William E. Viant; a brother, Edward Needham; and a sister, Rosemary Yuknavage.  She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Viant of Howell; two grandsons, Steaphan Clement of Bozeman, MT and Michael Clement of Howell; and her faithful, canine companion, Neil.
