Dorothy “Dolly” Cusworth,100, of Freehold passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was a lifelong resident of Freehold. Dorothy was heavily involved in her community. Many will remember her as a member of Jerseyville United Methodist Church where she was the Sunday School Supervisor, a past Matron of the Molly Pitcher O.E.S., a past Grand Officer of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a former Girl Scout leader. Dorothy also generously gave her time as a volunteer at CentraState Medical Center.  Her dedication to the community will always be remembered.

She was predeceased by her parents, James E. Taylor and Dorothy Stansfield Taylor; husband, Christopher Cusworth; and son-in-law, Robert Hansen. Dorothy is survived by her three daughters, Donna Hansen of Freehold, Karen Walzer and her husband, John of Freehold and Christy Cusworth and her partner, Diana Robinson of Lambertville; four grandsons, Jonathan Kim, Jason Kim, Eric Hansen and Jared Hansen; five great grandchildren, Ian Cordova, Astrid Taylor Kim, Odin Kim, Mabel Hansen and Robin Hansen; and one brother, James E. Taylor II and his wife, Imogene of Winter Haven, FL.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM funeral service at the Jerseyville Methodist Church, 8 Howell Road, Freehold, NJ 07728. Interment will take place at Maplewood Cemetery, 169 West Main Street, Freehold Township.
