Obituary of Elaine Ranieri
Elaine J. Ranieri, 75, of Howell passed away on November 23, 2022 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. She was born and raised in Downtown Brooklyn and had moved to Old Bridge before settling to Howell 20 years ago. Elaine was an administrative assistant for Enterprise Bank where she took great pride in her job and the relationships that she made there. She was an avid collector of dolls, Elvis Presley plates and anything the color of purple. Elaine had a certain way about her she had a fiery spirit and lived her life in an unapologetic way, she always did things her way. She had a love for animals, especially dogs and was always willing to give one or two a home. Elaine loved Eeyore from Winne the Pooh and often thought of him as her spirit animal. She had an ear for good music, Tom Jones, Elvis Presley and IlDivo being her favorites. More than anything, her family was most important, she valued the time she spent with them and cherished the memories that had been made. A goodbye wasn’t a true goodbye without her telling her grandchildren, I love you babe.
Elaine is predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Ann Martino; sister, Annette Mucci; nieces, Donna McMahon and Crisi Pacheco; and favorite uncle whom she always considered a father figure, Fred Martino. She is survived by her two children, Thomas Ranieri and his wife, Debbie of Howell, Tammy Tramontana and her husband, Cam of Howell; seven grandchildren, Kristiana and her husband, Scott, Thomas, Matthew, Christopher, Justin, Daniel and Julianna; sister, Lyn Lippert and her husband, Kenny; brother, Michael Martino and his wife, Kathy; niece, Debra Pacheco; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and extended family.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Interment will be private. For information, directions or to leave condolence messages, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
