Obituary of Laura A. Schwochert

Laura A. Schwochert, 55, of Freehold Township passed away peacefully on December 21, 2022 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was born in Queens, NY to John and Anne Sera. She was a graduate of Freehold Township High School and Brookdale Community College. Laura worked as a student loan counselor until she obtained her Real Estate license. She enjoyed gourmet cooking and had extensive knowledge of the culinary arts.

Laura was preceded in death by her mother, Anne; uncles, John and Paul Lalis, and Howard Stroh and Aunt Malvina Stroh. She is survived by her father, John; brother, John and his wife, Renee and their children, Blake, Brycen, Ellianna, and Victoria; sister, Dawn Calvanico and her husband, Anthony and their children, Anthony, Lucas, and Autumn; aunts, Sheila Lalis and Velta Piccione; and many loving cousins.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM Funeral Service on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township.
