Obituary of Michele D'Onorio DeMeo
Michele D'Onorio DeMeo, 74, of Marlboro passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, December 30, 2022. He was born in the City of Formia in the Province of Latina, Italy. He came to the United States in 1970 and lived in Brooklyn, NY, Howell and Toms River before settling in Marlboro in 2022. A hard worker and a man who loved fixing things, he owned Imperial Tile in Shrewsbury for 30 years prior to retiring. Michele enjoyed spending time in his house on the water and crabbing. Lovingly referred to as Nonno, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mr. D'Onorio DeMeo was predeceased by his brother, Luigi. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Giuseppina D'Onorio DeMeo; children, Luigina Cedar of Howell, Rita Lyristis and her husband, Taso of Farmingdale, Michele Magarelli and her husband, Michael of Freehold, and Deborah D'Onorio DeMeo and her husband, Derrick Manthey of Atlantic Highlands; ten grandchildren, Matthew, Isabella, Anastasia, Michael, Francesca, Jake, Olivia, Sabrina, John and Logan; and six siblings, Maria Civita Riccardelli, Antonio D'Onorio DeMeo, Emilio D'Onorio DeMeo, Luca D'Onorio DeMeo, Filomena Savino, and Ferdinando D'Onorio DeMeo.
Relatives and friend are invited to attend his 11:30 AM Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at St. Thomas More Church, 186 Gordons Corner Road, Manalapan. Entombment will follow in St. Gabriel's Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleum, 549 County Route 520, Marlboro.
