Obituary of Hannah Elizabeth Briggs

Hannah Elizabeth Briggs, 83, lifelong resident of Howell, passed away at her home on Sunday, January 8, 2023. She was a bus driver for the Freehold Regional School District for 45 years. Traveling was her passion, she would look forward to her well planned out trips. On Tuesdays she could be found at the Church of the Visitation in Brick playing bingo and on Wednesday she could be found at Howell Lanes these were two hobbies she really enjoyed. Hannah was predeceased by her son, Richard Briggs, Jr and her husband, Richard Briggs, Sr. She is survived by her three children, Betsy Miller and her husband, Bill of Neptune, Wilbur Briggs of Howell and Timothy Briggs and his wife, Darelle Pfeiffer of Point Pleasant: three grandchildren, Kyle, Morgan and Ambrose. A Memorial Gathering will be held for Hannah and her husband, Richard at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
