Obituary of Glenn Anthony Ashby

Glenn Anthony Ashby, 52, of Freehold passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at home. He was born in Bronx, NY, raised in Teaneck, NJ, and settled in Freehold NJ. Glenn was a dedicated hard worker. He was always the life of the party, outgoing, and fun to be around. Glenn will be remembered for his amazing sense of humor and his selfless nature.

He was predeceased by his parents: Clyde and Geraldine Ashby; grandparents: William and Edith Dunson; uncles: William, Melvin and Roger; sister: Rashawna Ashby-Greene; and nephew: Michael Orr Jr. Glenn is survived by his sisters: Selina, Delores, Crystal, Lateisha, Alisha, Ebony J and Ebony T; brothers: Kenneth and Shawn; nieces: Syreeta, Faith, Hannah, Amiyah, Navaeh, and Alexis; nephews: Rodney, Jeremy, David, Jalen, Daris, Lloyd, Jasiah, and Adrian; aunt: Millicent Powell and uncle: Richard Dunson and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and Friday, January 20, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:30 AM with his funeral service to immediately follow.
