Obituary of Anthony Falkowski
Anthony Falkowski, 74, of Freehold Township passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, January 9, 2023. Tony was born and raised in Elizabeth. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1968. He lived in Linden before moving to Freehold Township in 1984. Tony was a salesman in the garment industry working up and down the East Coast. He was an amazing cook and was known for his homemade meatballs and pasta sauce. Tony was a fan of the NY Yankees, the NY Giants, and the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. He was a devoted husband of 38 years, a loving father, adoring grandfather, and a kindred brother.
Tony was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Ann Falkowski. He is survived by his wife, Jaclyn Falkowski; three children, Shannon Christensen and her husband, Mark of Brick, Ann-Marie Falkowski and her husband, Dustin Sherman of Hamilton, and Anthony “TJ” Falkowski and his wife, Alyssa of Cranford; five grandchildren, Andrew Christensen and his wife, Rachel, Abbey Christensen, Riley Christensen, Jackson Falkowski and Cooper Falkowski; and his brother, Glenn Falkowski and his wife, Judy of Linden.
Inurnment was at the convenience of the family in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. A memorial gathering will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township, NJ 07728 on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 10:30 AM with words of remembrance at 11:30 AM.
