Condolences
Kathy and I met in high school and reconnected at a high school reunion. After her husband passed Kathy spent a week with me in my home in Florida for a few years. We so enjoyed spending time together and playing scrabble. She was a scrabble pro. For the past 5 years we played words. I will miss her and her smile. She is in a better place with her husband and son. I am positive that her girls have a special angel watching out for them.
Kathy and I grew up together on East 26th St. in Brooklyn. I have very fond memories of time spent in her home watching her step dad Frank fencing. Every Saturday she and I would venture to the local butcher on Avenue U to get her grandmother her pound of chopped chuck for Sunday's dinner. Her mother always made sure we minded our manners and stayed out of trouble. Kathy was one of my bride maids when I married. The last time we were together was in Florida when I visited her and her brother Jimmy.
We had a wonderful visit as it would always have been with Kathy. May you R.I.P my dear friend and to her loving family I send my sincere condolences. Your mom loved all of you so much .....
Kathy and I have been friends since 1960. She was such a wonderful person, always upbeat, patient, understanding and had such a contagious laugh. Once you heard her laugh, you never forgot. A truly wonderful person, friend, wife, mother and of course, Gigi. She will be missed so much by everyone who ever met her or were touched by her kindness and spirit. Kathy, my heart is broken. I will miss you until the day we meet again. God bless you and keep you safe in his arms.
