Obituary of James Anthony Kadash

James Anthony Kadash, 77, of Farmingdale, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023, at his home surrounded by his dear wife, family and friends. He was born in Perth Amboy, raised in Woodbridge and had lived in Sea Bright and Tinton Falls, before settling in Farmingdale in 2019. He had a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master of Arts Degree in Political and Social Science. James was employed as the Vice President at Global Metals and Minerals Corp. for over 20 years. Always active, James had many interests including sailing, gardening, hunting, fishing, shooting, and was a published writer. We will all miss his kindness and generosity. James was optimistic, a fighter, and always saw the best in people, and will be remembered by all as a true gentleman.

 

He is predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Catherine Kadash; sister, Kathleen Stocker. James is survived by his loving wife, Handri Kadash, brother, Jerry Kadash and his wife, Natalie of Tinton Falls, Friend of 65 years, James Ciampa and his wife, Arna of Bluffton, South Carolina; brother-in-law, Andries Dormehl and his wife, Melisa of Melbourne, Australia; niece, Amy Hilliard-Lomas and nephew, Jarred Dormehl.

 

A gathering of friends will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 16 Virginia Avenue, Manasquan, NJ 08736 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with his funeral service to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of James may be made to The food Pantry at First Presbyterian Church of Manasquan, 16 Virginia Avenue, Manasquan, NJ 08736, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105Interment will be private.
