Condolences
I'd like to express my sincere condolences to the family & friends of your beloved Mel. I'd like to share with you the comfort from God's word the Bible. Please read John 5:28, 29 we are given the loving hope of the ressurrection of our dear loved ones. The God of comfort also reassures us that He is near to those who are brokenhearted & those crushed in spirit he saves. Please also read Psalm 34:18. May you draw comfort from God's promises & from the many wonderful memories you all shared. Cherish them in your heart always.
I am so sorry for your loss. Although I hadn't worked with Mel for quite a few years, I will always remember her great attitude and outlook on life. She will be truly missed by everyone from her FedEx family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family.
Bruce, Christine, John and Peter, I was so sorry to hear of your loss of Melonie. I will always remember her being so nice at the family gatherings at the house by the lagoon. She was also so good to my mother and grandmother. She will be missed. Many blessings to you all.
I find hard to believe, and even harder to accept that Melonie is gone. Melonie, had been nearly a fixture at our Slant-Six Club events, particularly at our annual Fall Meet for many, many years, handling a variety of jobs, from registration, parking vehicles, and running our 50/50. Melonie has been there as a friend, a helper, and as loyal a member of an organization, as anyone could ever imagine, or hope for, and her absence, leaves a void I feel few could fill, whether be the friend I knew, or that loyal Club Member.
