Obituary of Wieslaw Goworek

Wieslaw Goworek, 85 of Howell Township passed away peacefully at the Jewish Home, Freehold on Sunday, January 15, 2023. Wes was born and raised in Lazöw Poland. He came to the United States settling in Howell. He lived in Jersey City and North Bergen before moving to Howell Township in 1999. Wes retired from the Teamsters. He was a fan of pro wrestling and was a jack of all trades. Wies really could build and fix anything. Wes was predeceased by his wife, Teresa in 2021. He is survived by three sons, Stanley Goworek of Howell, John Goworek and his wife Lisa of Middletown and Robert Goworek and his wife, Barbara Ann of Oakland; four grandchildren, Jade, Kyle, Samantha, and Matthew; and a sister, Hanka "Anna" Piwko and her husband, Stanley of Lakewood. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 2:00 PM Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at The Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell Township, NJ 07731.
