Obituary of Michael Anthony D'Amore

Michael Anthony D’Amore, 58, of Jackson passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023. He was born in Newark, raised in Edison, and settled in Jackson over 25 years ago. Michael was a dedicated hard worker, creating his own business, M.A.D. Trucking. He was truly fearless, volunteering as both an EMT and a Fireman. Michael enjoyed cooking and baking and was especially proficient with pies and cookies. His true love was his dogs, Lola & Lil & riding his Harley.  Michael was a fun-loving guy who was full of charm.  He was personable and could make friends anywhere he went. Michael was a man of his word and enjoyed life with his friends and family. He was honest, sincere, and selfless. If anyone needed help, they could count on Michael. Above all, he appreciated everything his father taught him throughout life, and it is reflected in his character. Michael worked in the family construction company with his Dad by his side.

He was predeceased by his mother, Lillian D’Amore. Michael is survived by his father, Thomas E. D’Amore of Edison; sister, Catherine D’Amore of Green Brook; brother, Thomas J. D’Amore of Edison; nieces, Jessica D’Amore-Crawford and her husband, Gary and Candace D’Amore; his daughter, Bianca and many loving cousins and friends.
