Obituary of Lionel Coty
Lionel J. Coty, 87, of Howell NJ passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Tower Lodge Care Center in Wall. Lionel was born in Springfield, Mass. and had lived in Old Bridge, NJ most of his life retiring in Toms River. He was a milkman for Johanna Farms then Woodbrook Dairies before owning his own route for All Star Dairies in Perth Amboy. Lionel was a US Navy veteran serving during WWII and an US Army veteran serving in Korea. He was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church, Lakewood and a member of The Knights of Columbus Council #836 in Lakewood. Lionel was also a member of the Cheesequake Fire Department.
Lionel was predeceased by his wife, Audrey C. Coty in 2009. He is survived by two sons, Joseph Coty and his wife, Connie of Gilbert Az., and Edward Coty and his wife, Michelle of Howell; four daughters, Cathy Kipila and her husband Ed "Kip" of Atlantic City, Lynda Lombardi and her husband, Ray of Cummings, GA, Jacqueline Coty-Gallo and her husband, Fred of Jacobstown and Karen Mutarelli and her husband, Joe of Oviedo, FL; twelve grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 9:15 AM for the procession to Holy Family Church, County Line Road, Lakewood for his 10:30 AM Funeral Mass. Entombment to follow in St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lionel's memory may be made to Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
