Condolences
Mr. Porto was a long time customer of ours here at the Jackson Branch of the Ocean County Library. Mr. Porto was always very friendly and said hello to everyone. He was in weekly and loved all our material from movies, magazines and more. A kind and special person that will be missed and remembered by the Circulation staff. We send our heartfelt condolences to Mr. Porto's family and friends and are grateful that we were able to be a part of his life.
So sorry for your loss. Mr. Porto was a fixture in the old neighborhood, giving us rides and inviting us over! (My sister and I grew up with Tammy). Sending lots of prayers - Sheetal Desai Werneke 16 Exeter St

I was so saddened to hear about Uncle George. He was such a kind and nice man. It was always a pleasure to have him at our family functions. He was quiet but once you got him going, he was very interesting to talk to and he had many a funny story. Uncle George could take an ordinary experience and turn it into a funny and entertaining story. We would sit around the table on many Thanksgivings as he would make us all laugh with his stories about everyday life. Those were good times. I’m so blessed to have had Uncle George as part of my fond childhood memories and very lucky that he was still present throughout my adult life. We didn’t get together as often as we would have liked, but it was always special when we were all together . I will miss my Uncle George. My love, thoughts and prayers are with you all.
