Obituary of Gandolfo Gagliardotto

Gandolfo “Gary” Gagliardotto, 56, of Jackson passed away on February 13, 2023, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was born and raised in Brooklyn before settling to New Jersey.   Gary proudly served his country as a Marine. A voracious reader, Gary would escape into books. He enjoyed camping and star gazing.

Gary was predeceased by his parents, Stefano, and Sara Gagliarotto. He is survived by his sister, Lucille Poggioli and her husband, Joe of Middletown; three nephews, Louis, Stefan, and Justin; three aunts, Vera Costa, Sadie Modica, Mariann Benenati; and many dear cousins whom he loved deeply.

A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on February 21, 2023, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.  Relative and friends are invited to attend his 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township following the inurnment. Inurnment will take place at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
