Condolences
Very sorry to just hear about my cousin Terry. Our heartfelt prayers go out to Bill and the kids. Will miss her lovingly snarky comments and wit. She was a great cousin, always compassionate and is missed.

What Teresa was to Dave and I over the past 35 years was FAMILY. And to Jacob, she was Grandma Touhy. Her delicious sticky chocolate, chocolate chip cookies (in a plastic bag with a ribbon) were made for every occasion. Cards were exchanged for every birthday, anniversary, and holiday. And our meeting almost every Saturday morning, for those 35 years, at the diner were always filled with stories of the week, tales from years ago, and mostly chats about the children and grandchildren. Teresa couldn’t have been prouder. We shared both of our families’ stories over many a breakfast. We heard endlessly about Bill’s only dinner request … chicken, chicken, chicken and her endless support (with rolled eyes) of his request. She and Bill are a love story and they loved deeply.
Of course, her knowing smile and glistening eyes always provided that bit of humor and love. And, her hug was enveloping, warm and genuine.
Our lives were so enriched by Teresa and her influence will be part of us forever. We love and miss you Teresa.
Mr. Tuohy, Theresa, and Bill Bill, to many fond memories to pick just one. I too was in the non-coat wearing family and I sometimes think we just did it to drive her crazy. In a way, I think it made her day. We didn’t need a neighborhood watch, we had Mrs. Tuohy! Such a good person and a huge part of our childhood. You will always be remembered Mrs. Tuohy.
