Obituary of Francis "Frankie" M. Cottrell, Jr.

Francis “Frankie” M. Cottrell, Jr., 32, lifelong resident of Howell passed away on March 11, 2023. A man of many skills, he worked for Shoprite for the past year and as a Landscaper while attending school to be a licensed HVAC Technician. Frankie was an extremely hard worker and made many friends along the way. He loved his pets and enjoyed fishing. Above all, Frankie was selfless, always giving gifts to show his love, and was incredibly family oriented. He will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, George Tyger, Sr., Peter Cottrell, and Marjorie Cottrell; and uncle, John Peter Cottrell, Jr.. Frankie is survived by his devoted parents, Frank Cottrell, Sr., and Kelly Cottrell; sisters, Kristina Bacon and Emily Cottrell; niece, Lila Bacon; grandmother, Linda Tyger; and many loving cousins, aunts, uncles, and countless friends.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 1:00 to 4:30 PM with his memorial service to follow.
