Obituary of Dawnmarie Sims

Dawnmarie Sims, 54, of Freehold passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023, at Tallwoods Care Center, Bayville. She was born in Weehawken and had lived in Atlanta before returning to New Jersey in 1993. Dawnmarie was giving and caring, she always took care of others and was always extremely good to her goddaughter, Mia. Dawnmarie always remained hopeful for more days of strength and laughter. Her will and determination to live and to enjoy life will be long remembered.

Dawnmarie is predeceased by her first husband, John Gay and her second husband, Jason Sims. She is survived by her parents, Rosemarie Sabat and her husband, Bruce and Gary Moskovciak, Sr and his wife, Lynda; siblings, Gary Moskovciak, Jr and his wife, Christina, Jeffrey Moskovciak and his wife, Julie and Erin Wical and her husband, Will; nieces, Mia and Brooke; and nephew, Chase.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on  Friday, March 24, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM with her funeral service to follow. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Ramapo Rescue Dog Association and mailed to P.O. Box 864, Ramsey, NJ 07446.
