Obituary of Giuseppe DiSclafani

Giuseppe DiSclafani, 84, of Manalapan passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township.  Born in Sicily, Italy, Giuseppe immigrated to the United States in 1967 and settled in Brooklyn before moving here in 2003.  He was very much a family man who was most proud of his daughters and their families.  Giuseppe loved to play solitaire with Italian cards and enjoyed meals with those he loved.  In his spare time, you could find him watching soccer, WWE, boxing, baseball and Westerns. 

Giuseppe was predeceased by his wife, Agata DiSclafani; and brother, Epifanio DiSclafani.  He is survived by two daughters, Ann Marie Amato and her husband, David, and Santa DiSclafani-Balsano and her husband, Daniele; six grandchildren, Sabrina, Francesco, Giuseppe, Davide, Massimo and Rocco; and sister-in-law, Anna DiSclafani of Italy. 

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 12:00 to 4:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 9:30 AM for the procession to his 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 91 Stillhouse Road, Millstone 08510.  Entombment will follow in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery and Chapel Mausoleum, 549 County Route 520, Marlboro 07746.
