Obituary of Anthony A. Mangeri
Anthony A. Mangeri, 84, of Jackson passed away peacefully at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Anthony was born in the Bronx and had lived in Dumont and Monroe before settling in Jackson in 2007. He was a mechanic for Schweitzer-Mauduit International Inc. for 15 years. He was very involved at the Four Seasons of South Knolls Community, Jackson and really enjoyed being a part of the Mens Club, Italian American Club and the Wine Club. Anthony was also a member of the Thundering Turtles of Dumont. He was always giving back and thinking of others and thoroughly enjoyed volunteering at Bread from Heaven soup kitchen. Anthony had a love for Ford cars, especially vintage Fords. An inventor of many things, he never missed an opportunity to take in the beautiful scenery of the stars in the sky and enjoyed taking photos. In keeping his memory alive the family asks that every time you see a shining star in the sky you think of him.
Anthony was predeceased by his parents, Rosario and Antoinette Mangeri; and sister, Rosemary Meyers. He is survived by his wife, Antoinette Mangeri; four children, Lisa Dipierro and her husband, Michael of Monroe, Renee Farrell and her husband, William of Howell, Nicole Mangeri of Howell and Michael Mangeri and his wife, Irene of Monroe; and four grandchildren, Jessica, Christopher, Danielle and Ryan.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 12:00 to 3:30 PM with his funeral service to follow. Interment will be private.
